PSL: F2 Logistics shuts down Sta. Lucia in record setter

MANILA, Philippines—F2 Logistics flexed its might and trampled Sta. Lucia, 25-22, 25-3, 25-12, in the Philippine Super Liga All-Filipino Conference Thursday at Filoil Flying V Center.

The only time the Cargo Movers was in danger was when they trailed 19-10 in the first set but Kalei Mau led a blinding 15-3 surge to get her team in the driver’s seat.

F2 Logistics then hammered Sta. Lucia in the second set to own the new record on the biggest winning margin victory in the league history at 25-3.

Mau finished with 13 points while Ara Galang had 11 points and 15 digs.

Mary Joy Baron was a towering presence in the middle of the net, tallying five blocks to finish with nine points while Dawn Macandili was impenetrable in the ground with 24 excellent digs.

“I was surprised, I didn’t expect that huge rout in the second set,” said F2 Logistics head coach Ramil De Jesus as his team improved to an 8-0 record. “We didn’t have a service error in the second set and Sta. Lucia failed to pass the ball.”

Andrea Marzan and Roselle Baliton combined for 15 points to lead the Lady Realtors who dropped to 1-8.
