Go for Gold attempts world record in simultaneous dribbling

MANILA, Philippines–Go For Gold Pilipinas is looking to break records on Sunday with the most number of people dribbling simultaneously at Mall of Asia Concert Grounds.

At least 10, 000 dribblers are expected to attend Guinness World Record attempt, which kicks off Go for Gold’s promotional partnership with Fiba to drum up interest for the upcoming Fiba World Cup.

It also aims to generate support for the national athletes with the Philippines hosting the 2019 Southeast Asian Games in November.

“Being a SEA Games year, we want to be able to encourage a lot of Filipinos to be active in supporting sports and our national athletes,’’ said Jeremy Go of Go For Gold, backer of several teams and athletes.

The previous record on the simultaneous drilling was at set on July 22, 2019, with 7,556 during an event organized by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency.

Players, sports personalities and celebrities are expected to attend the record-breaking effort set at 4pm. Participants can proceed directly to MOA ground to register.
