LAS VEGAS—Shortly after undefeated John Leo Dato scored a knockout win to get things going, another Filipino in Genisis Libranza was not to be outdone after pulling off a stoppage of his own.
Libranza stopped Carlos Maldonado in the fourth round of their eight-rounder in the flyweight division.
The 25-year-old Libranza unleashed combinations while pinning a helpless Maldonado against the ropes before the referee halted the fight.
