MANILA, Philippines—Manny Pacquiao and Keith Thurman both started the fight aggressively in the first minute of the fight for the WBA Super World welterweight title Sunday (Manila time) at MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
Although the two were quick to engage, Pacquiao was the first to land a solid shot with a left straight in the first minute.
Pacquiao (61-7-2) connected with his flurries in the middle of the ring but Thurman managed to sneak in a right straight to momentarily stop the Filipino’s advance.
Despite Thurman’s aggressiveness, he ran into Pacquiao’s right cross that put him to the canvas in the final minute.
