ROUND 5: Thurman pushes on offense but Pacquiao with strong finish

MANILA, Philippines—Keith Thurman sneaked in a quick 1-2 to start the round and again put Manny Pacquiao against the ropes to start the fifth round.
Thurman then landed an uppercut against Pacquiao and followed it up with a big right hand that put the Filipino icon on the defensive.
Thurman then landed a right straight near the midway point of the round and followed it up with a right hook.
Pacquiao responds with a right uppercut and a right straight off a 1-2 combination.
Pacquiao then landed a two-punch combo to the body of Thurman and a right jab off a counter.
Just as the previous round, Pacquiao gained steam in the latter seconds that stopped Thurman at his tracks.
