Dizon, Quiñones seek kart repeats
John Dizon and junior campaigner Miguel Quiñones gun for a reprise of their victories in the kickoff leg when they set out as favorites in Rounds 3 and 4 of the 2019 Petron Blaze 100 ROK GP Super Karting Series this weekend at Clark International Speedway track in Pampanga.
Karting’s 2018 Golden Wheel awardee from Edgesport Racing, Dizon completely dominated reigning Asian junior champion Bianca Bustamante in the qualifying heats and the final race to clinch the ROK GP Blaze 100 overall and senior titles in Round 1 in Puerto Princesa City in June.
Dizon skipped the Palawan leg’s Round 2 topped by Quiñones over Jennifer Tumambing and Bustamante, who now vies in the senior class.
