MANILA, Philippines—Anthony Semerad suffered a dislocated left shoulder in the fourth quarter of TNT’s 95-92 opening win in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup semifinals Friday at Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Semerad and Ginebra import Justin Brownlee collided on a hustle play but it was the TNT forward who bore the brunt of the impact as he writhed in pain in front of his own bench with 39 seconds left in the game.

TNT head coach Bong Ravena hoped Semerad’s injury isn’t that severe and that he can come back for the remainder of the five-game series.

“I think it’s a dislocated shoulder, hoping it’s not that serious,” said Ravena in Filipino. “He can’t move it earlier and I pray it’s only minor.”

Semerad was balling before the injury putting up 17 points, on 4-of-9 from beyond the arch, with two rebounds, and one assist.
