Still perfect
F2 Logistics passed its toughest test of the conference after overcoming Generika-Ayala in five sets Saturday night in the Philippine Superliga All Filipino Conference at FilOil Flying V Centre.
The Cargo Movers were under siege all game and trailed the Lifesavers late in the fifth set, needing to dig really deep before pulling out a 25-19, 25-27, 25-22, 18-25, 15-13 win to run up their impressive streak to 10 games.
Birthday girl Kim Kianna Dy and Aby Maraño scored the clutch hits down the stretch for F2, just after Generika-Ayala captain Angeli Araneta went down injured after tying the match at 12-all.

The 6-foot-1 Baron accounted for nine of her team’s 16 kill-blocks on top of scoring five attacks of her own.
It was the first time the Cargo Movers were dragged to a fifth set in the conference that they have so far dominated.

Kalei Mau held court early in the match and finished with 25 points for the Cargo Movers, who had to reshuffle their lineup again and again in hopes of finding the right combination.
Dy, who is recovering from a hamstring injury, came off the bench to score four points in the fifth set.
“Whatever happens, the important thing was the communication and movement inside the court,” said F2 libero Dawn Macandili, who came up with 43 excellent digs.
Generika-Ayala was leading, 11-8 in the fifth set to only allow the Cargo Movers to claw back.
Araneta limped out of the court after hurting her left knee. Orendain committed an attacking error after before Dy hit down the line for match point.
