NCAA: St. Benilde still undefeated after comeback win over San Sebastian
MANILA, Philippines–College of St. Benilde kept its unbeaten run going after pulling off a 77-72 come-from-behind win over San Sebastian in the NCAA Season 95 men’s basketball tournament at the Filoil Arena.
Speedy guard Unique Naboa sank the marginal free throws as the Blazers survived the highly physical encounter with the Stags that bloodied Mark Sangco’s forehead to share the lead with the defending champion San Beda Red Lions at 4-0.
RK Ilagan was all over the floor for the Stags with 24 points, but couldn’t help his team from plummeting to their third consecutive defeat in five games.
