Spotlight on women in Regent race
The second Regent Aguila Energy Drink Ironman 70.3 gets a dose of women power with a record number of participants all set for the IronGirl on Aug. 9 at Shangri-La Mactan in Cebu.
The 5k fun run for girls 12 years old and above at 5 p.m. will cap a series of activities lined up in the first of the three-day event.
The 1,400 slots in IronGirl were actually sold out in three hours when it opened on June 12, underscoring the tremendous appeal of the side event.
The Ironman 70.3 activities will kick off on Aug. 8 with the Expo Open and other events at The Marquee.
