MANILA, Philippines—Manilla Santos-Ng is set to return to volleyball after nearly a decade of absence as she joins Choco Mucho for the upcoming Premier Volleyball League Open Conference.

The Season 71 UAAP MVP has been away from the sport since she graduated from La Salle nearly a decade ago and she now joins Ateneo products Maddie Madayag, Kat Tolentino, and Bea De Leon to form the Flying Titans’ Core.

Santos-Ng’s return was first rumored during the Reinforced Conference when she joined Creamline’s practices before Rebisco, the company that owns the Cool Smashers, founded another team in the PVL.

The four-time UAAP champion, and one-time Best Receiver, had her no.14 jersey retired at La Salle but it has yet to be announced what number she will wear with the Flying Titans.

Choco Mucho also has Carla Sandoval, Kim Gequillana, Gyra Barroga, Bang Pineda, Cindy Imbo, and will be under the tutelage of head coach Oliver Almadro.
