MANILA — National team member Lara Posadas and Marc Custodio of TBAM-Prima on Sunday topped their respective divisions as the qualifying rounds of the Grand Mall Tenpin Bowling Club (GMTBC)-Yee Lu Fa National Heroes Open Championships ended its second qualifying day.
Posadas posted a six-game series of 1337 to lead the Mixed Open class, followed by Dale Lazo (1312) and youth standout Merwin Tan (1299), both of TBAM-Prima-RP.
Custodio leads the way in the Mixed Classified division with 1342, trailed by John Paul Go (1337) of SCTBA-Prima and Peter Plaza (1336) of Sletba-GMTBC.
In the Mixed Senior category, Bonnie Solis of TBAM-Prima is currently on top with 1370, followed by Alex Bea (1338) of PBA and Ian Diwa (1336) of TBAM.
Juancho Calumpong (1293), Nicco Agujo (1270), and King Limpo (1251), all of TBAM-Prima, are lording it over the Mixed Youth field.
In the Mixed Juniors (14 years and under), Chynna Santos of PBA is on top with 1092, followed by Lawrence Tucay with 1015, and Charleen Calamba with 997, both of Sletba.
Qualifying rounds for all divisions are ongoing until Friday, from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The GMTBC-Yee Lu Fa Open is sanctioned by the Philippine Bowling Federation.
