PSL: Cignal outlasts PLDT in bounce back win
MANILA, Philippines–Cignal HD withstood PLDT Home Fibr, 23-25, 25-20, 25-16, 23-25, 15-9 to get back on track in the Philippine Superliga All-Filipino Conference Tuesday.
The HD Spikers made sure to come out of a five-setter with a victory this time as they bounced back from a 24-26, 25-19, 24-26, 25-18, 14-16 heartbreaker to Generika-Ayala last Saturday
Janine Navarro carried Cignal HD, which is inching its way closer to the top half of the standings, with 23 points including five blocks.
The HD Spikers improved to 7-6, just half a game behind Generika-Ayala and Foton who have identical 7-5 cards to fill the third and fourth sports.
The Power Hitters, meanwhile, dropped further to 4-8.
