NCAA calls off Friday games anew due to bad weather

MANILA, Philippines—For the third time in a span of a week, the NCAA canceled another game day following the suspension of classes on Friday due to monsoon rains in Metro Manila.

The men’s and juniors’ basketball matches between San Sebastian and Emilio Aguinaldo College and St. Benilde and Jose Rizal U originally scheduled at San Juan Arena will now be played at a later date.

The league also suspended its games last August 2 and August 6 because of heavy rains.

The chess eligibility meeting on Friday was also postponed.

FEATURED STORIES

All tickets for the affected game days will be honored on the rescheduled date.

Meanwhile, rivals San Beda and Letran face off for the first time in Season 95 Saturday at 2pm at Cuneta Astrodome,  while Mapua and Arellano meet in the battle of cellar-dwellers at 4pm.
