PVL: Choco Mucho kicks off Open conference bid with sweep of BaliPure

MANILA, Philippines–Choco Mucho debuted in winning fashion after a 25-12, 25-18, 25-18 triumph over BaliPure Wednesday in the Premier Volleyball League Open Conference at FilOil Flying V Center.

Composed of the nucleus of the UAAP champion team Ateneo, the Flying Titans didn’t hold their punches against the Water Defenders.


BaliPure appeared ready to fight back when it came within 12-13 on a block late in the third set, but that was met with a barrage of points coming from Kat Tolentino and Maddie Madayag.

Acy Masangkay managed to make the Flying Titans act like one cohesive unit, tossing in 18 excellent sets to utilize their offensive might.
