MANILA, Philippines–Creamline played like the defending champion that it is, blasting Motolite, 25-14, 25-15, 25-14, Wednesday for its second straight win in the Premier Volleyball League Open Conference at FilOil Flying V Center.
The Cool Smashers went full throttle against the debuting Motolite Spikers who never got into form despite the presence of team leader Myla Pablo and big scorers Tots Carlos and Isa Molde.

Creamline out-attacked Motolite, 15-5, in the second set mainly through Alyssa Valdez, Jema Galanza and Michelle Gumabao. In that frame, Motolite’s seven errors also hurt its chances.
The win was quick follow-up to Creamline’s impressive debut in the opening day when it downed Philippine Air Force.
