Thai still leads; Superal 3 down

LIPA City—Nemittra Juntanaket struggled to a one-over-par 73 on Thursday but still held on to a one-shot lead over fellow Thai Pimpadsorn Sangkagaro going to the final round of the ICTSI Mt. Malarayat Ladies Classic here.

Princess Superal couldn’t sustain an early charge and the top Filipino hope in the P750,000 championship remained three back after a similar 73 over the complex’s composite course.

Sangkagaro, who birdied two of the last eight to shoot the day’s best 70, has a 146 aggregate.

Superal, seeking to make it two in a row, bogeyed No. 12 and dropped two strokes on the tricky par-5 14th after overshooting the green.
