Ramirez wants SEA Games advertised
As the host country, the Philippines should take advantage of bringing in the home crowd to the venues during the 30th Southeast Asian Games and give its national athletes a boost.
Chef de mission and Philippine Sports Commission Chair Butch Ramirez wants to see that built-in advantage exploited by informing the public on the areas where the games will be played.
“We would like to see signages in all venues immediately to inform the people that those are the places where the SEA Games will be held,” Ramirez said.
The facilities in Subic and New Clark City are almost ready, but Ramirez observed the lack of awareness there.
