Spain stint grows Robert Bolick’s knowledge of the game
MANILA, Philippines—Robert Bolick may be just a rookie in the PBA but the no.2 overall pick of the 2018 Draft will take lessons from virtually any classroom.
Bolick, who averaged 20 points in the two games for the Philippines in the four-country tournament Torneo de Malaga, said he picked up invaluable insights even by just watching world No. 2 Spain.

“I saw some pointers I can use, and the most important thing is that you always learn something new everyday.”
NBA stars such as Marc Gasol and Ricky Rubio played in Malaga with brothers Willy and Juan Hernangomez and Bolick admitted that he was disheartened he couldn’t play against such elite competition.
