The veteran spiker inspired her younger teammate Tots Carlos who chipped in nine markers as the Power Builders recovered from the first-game loss to the defending champion Creamline Cool Smashers.
Maria Nieza Viray topscored for Chef’s Classics with 10 points, but the new team’s collective effort fell short as Motolite out-attacked, 37-27.
Iris Tolenada had 15 excellent sets for Motolite which worked harder on floor defense with 56 excellent digs against 48 by Chef’s Classics.
