MANILA, Philippines—Perpetual Help bagged three gold medals while defending champion Jose Rizal University and College of St. Benilde topped two events apiece on Day Two of the 87th NCAA track and field competition at the Rizal Memorial oval.
Perpetual Help’s Mark Philipp Silloco ruled the 400-meter hurdles, Patrick Fadegorao was tops in high jump and Mark Larry Basa made his mark in the 110m hurdles.
Sillococ clocked 54.86 seconds in beating Letran’s Joey Molenilla (55.77) and fellow Altas Larick Panes (56.67).
Fadegorao tallied 1.97m as he bested San Beda’s Christian Delovino (1.85) and San Sebastian’s John Arvin Gomez (1.85) while Basa submitted 15.17 seconds to edge teammate Ray Mark Castillo (15.26) and JRU’s Domingo Cabradilla (15.34).

St. Benilde’s Enrick Ng prevailed in pole vault and Oscar Pasia Jr. in discus throw.
In the javelin event, San Sebastian’s Benjie Abraham topped the seniors division while Emilio Aguinaldo’s Sidney Onwubere ruled juniors action.
