MANILA, Philippines–Meralco practice on Wednesday momentarily stopped after guard Trevis Jackson went down with an apparent back injury during a five-on-five.

Jackson took a bad fall following a rebound and had to be stretchered off after minutes of lying down on the floor.

The 6-foot Jackson, who was the fifth overall pick in the 2018 PBA Draft, was rushed to nearby Medical City.

Injuries continued to plague the Bolts with veteran forward Ranidel de Ocampo out with back spasms and guard Mike Tolomia recovering from right knee tendonitis.
