Creamline shoots for sixth straight
Having survived what they termed as “hell week,” Creamline on Saturday collides with Choco Mucho, a team that’s also undergoing its share of hardship.
Creamline team leader Alyssa Valdez said they went through the wringer facing the top teams in their previous matches, and vowed the whole experience would only make the Cool Smashers stronger.
“The hardest part is that we were playing [against contenders BanKo Perlas and PetroGazz] in consecutive playing days,” Valdez said. “But we can’t make any excuses here. We have to keep going.”

But while the Cool Smashers are still unblemished in five games, the Flying Titans are looking to stabilize their flight, coming on the heels of a straight sets defeat at the hands of the Perlas Spikers.
However, Valdez said it was still a long way to go, and the important thing is to “pile up wins early in the conference” so they gain momentum until the end.
