Golfer Saso leads Siklab heroes

Golf heroine Yuka Saso, who ruled the girls’ PGA championship recently, and triathlete Andrew Kim Remolino will lead 45 young sports heroes that the 2nd Siklab Sports Youth Awards will recognize Monday at Market! Market! Activity Area in Taguig City.

Joining Saso, the Asian Games gold medalist, and Remolino, now the fastest triathlete in national pool, are basketball’s Dave Ildefonso of National U and the national youth basketball team and junior cycling champion Marc Ryan Lago.

Dragonboat world champion paddlers Lealyn Baligasa and Christine Mae Talledo were also named Siklab Young Heroes. —JUNE NAVARRO
