Kleiner PSA Awards Night guest performer

MANILA, Philippines—Beauty queen and TV host Krista Kleiner will be the guest performer when the Philippine Sportswriters Association (PSA) holds its Annual Awards Night at the Manila Hotel Saturday.

Kleiner, who was crowned Bb. Pilipinas-International in 2010, joins the long list of performers who have serenaded the awardees in the gala night, including popular rock bands The Dawn and Mojofly, comedienne Marissa Sanchez, Triz Reyes, Kyla, and Karylle.

Eighty five top sports achievers and entities in 2011, led by world No. 1 pool player Dennis Orcollo and boxer Nonito Donaire, will be honored during the two-hour affair presented by Smart.

Kleiner has traveled the globe, performing in the tour of international balladeer singer Julio Iglesias. She has also dabbled in sports, holding a blackbelt in taekwondo and also took up swimming.

Orcollo and reigning WBO super-bantamweight champion Nonito Donaire Jr. are the co-winners of the Athlete of the Year plum in the gala co-presented by the Philippine Sports Commission, Coca-Cola, and Milo.

Vice President Jejomar Binay, who also heads the Philippine Badminton Association, will keynote the show that will be aired live over Sports Radio 918.

Hosting the event supported by San Miguel Corp., the Philippine Amusements and Gaming Corp., Philippine Basketball Association, Harbour Centre, SM Prime Holdings, and ICTSI, are TV personalities Luane Dy and Sel Guevarra.
