MANILA, Philippines—Air Force finally got off the ground after beating Chef’s Classics, 26-24, 25-15, 25-22, Sunday in the Premier Volleyball League Open Conference at Filoil Flying Center.
The Jet Spikers snared their first win in six matches, while handing the Red Spikers their seventh defeat in as many games.
After a tight opening set, the veterans of Air Force led by Judy Caballejo pressed on and imposed their experience against the youngsters of Chef’s Classics, majority of whom from San Beda University.
