MANILA, Philippines—PetroGazz continued its hot streak, torching a Motolite team hit by an injury to Myla Pablo, 25-21, 25-16, 28-26, in the Premier Volleyball League Open Conference Sunday at Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
It was the Angels’ fourth straight victory, hiking their record to 5-2 for a tie in second place with the idle BanKo Perlas Spikers.
Pablo, who missed games in thhe previous conference due to a back injury, hurt her right ankle at the start of second set and was wheeled out on stretcher.
The Motolite Spikers saw their own winning run cut to four and fell to 4-2.
