PVL: Air Force, PacificTown-Army score big wins
MANILA, Philippines—PacificTown-Army and Air Force struck down their respective rivals Wednesday to bolster their campaigns in the Premier Volleyball League Open Conference at Filoil Flying V Center.
PacificTown-Army scored its second win a row after blasting BaliPure, 25-17, 25-16, 27-25, solidifying its place in the middle of the standings with a 4-3 record.

But Honey Royse Tubino spark a scoring binge for PacificTown-Army to preserve the victory and hand BaliPure its sixth loss in eight games.
Earlier, Air Force used its vast experience to melt Choco Mucho, 26-24, 14-25, 21-25, 25-22, 15-17.

Abegail Nuval came off the bench to score nine points, including two aces that capped the match as the Jet Spikers logged in their second victory, tying the Flying Titans at 2-5.
Dell Palomata led Air Force with 18 points including four kill-blocks that stymied Choco Mucho at the net.
Angel Antipuesto and Jozza Cabalsa contributed 16 and 11 points, respectively for Air Force which had to race from 19-12 in the fourth to extend the match.
