PVL: Without Valdez, Creamline still breezes past Chef’s Classics
MANILA, Philippines—Creamline hardly needed the presence of the injured Alyssa Valdez in thrashing Chef’s Classics, 25-11, 25-14, 25-21, Saturday and keeping its unbeaten record in the Premier Volleyball League Open Conference at FilOil Flying V Center.

Chef’s Classics went to as close as 8-10 early in the third, before a Creamline error put it just within a point, 20-21, late in the frame.
But that was all Creamline could allow as Heather Guino-o and Risa Mandapat scored quick points to douse the fire and ensure the Cool Smashers’ repeat win over the Red Spikers.
