MANILA, Philippines—Phoenix added some depth in its backcourt after signing free agent guards RR Garcia and Davon Potts.

The Fuel Masters announced the news on their Twitter account Monday.

The 29-year-old Garcia last played for TNT but has not seen action for nearly a year.

The one-time UAAP MVP out of Far Eastern University was the sixth overall pick in the 2013 PBA Draft by the GlobalPort Batang Pier.

He bounced around the league in his first six seasons in the league before finally landing a new home at Phoenix, which is in need of a jolt after coming off a subpar campaign in the Commissioner’s Cup last month where they missed the playoffs after finishing in 10th place.

Potts, meanwhile, failed to get his contract renewed by Alaska two years after being selected as the sixth pick in the second round.

Garcia and Pots will team up with the likes of Alex Mallari, RJ Jazul and LA Revilla at the Fuel Masters’ backcourt.
