#KicksStalker: Three new women’s AF1 styles coming out for Holidays

MACAU—Womanpower spearheads one of Nike’s campaigns this holiday season with three new takes on the classic Air Force 1 silhouette.

The three new designs are the AF1 Shadow, AF1 Shell, and AF1 Reflective and will be released periodically from October to December.

“We know women are infinitely diverse, they want something unique and they want to use sneakers as an expression of themselves and their wardrobes,” said Nike women senior creative director Georgina Jones.

The shadow’s main features the double design and layered pieces, seen most especially on the Swoosh.

It’s not only on the shoe’s aesthetic that the Shadow presents its theme but also on the function with the midsole getting raised a tweaked outsole that would provide a lighter and more comfortable.

The Shadow will release on Oct. 3 with the Shell and Reflective designs hitting shelves on Nov.1 and Dec. 1, respectively.

With both the Shadow and Reflective designs getting employed on a low-top silhouette, the Shell broke away from the mold and opted not only for a high-top contour complete with a weather-resistant upper.

The Reflective has an all-black pebbled upper with bright blue accents on the laces but what gave the design its name is the 3M that was infused to the leader giving the shoe visibility on the low winter light.
