Seoul overcomes Zhejiang to reach Terrific 12 finals

MACAU—Jameel Warney saved the day for Seoul for a 77-76 semifinals win over Zhejiang to advance to the finals of the East Asia Super League: The Terrific 12 Saturday at Tap Seac Sports Pavilion here.

Jalen Reynolds came away with the defensive rebound off of Warney’s miss with 20 seconds remaining but his errant pass to Aaron Jackson allowed the SK Knights’ big man to get the steal and the game-winning dunk with 15.9 seconds to play.

Warney finished with a game-high 29 points with 11 rebounds, three steals, and four blocks to lead the SK Knights while Aaron Haynes had 16 points and 11 boards.

The Lions had two chances at the end of the game but Jinglong Li missed his corner three-pointer and Reynolds’ hook shot at the final buzzer clanked out.

Jinqiu Hu led the Lions with 16 points.

The SK Knights will face the winner between San Miguel and Liaoning in the finals.
