MANILA, Philippines–Mapua continued to play like a well-oiled machine to hammer out an emphatic 93-67 win over Arellano in the NCAA Season 95 men’s basketball tournament.

Six Cardinals wound up in double-figure scoring with Noah Lugo doing a little of everything that lit up the stat sheet and Justin Serrano putting up huge numbers to lead his team in their demolition of the Chiefs.

The Cardinals, who began the season winless in their first five games, suddenly became a contender as they tied the Blazers at fifth place with a 6-6 slate.

Gamely engaging the Cardinals three-fourths of the way, the Chiefs lost steam in the endgame with Justin Arana and Kent Salado failing to find their range. The Chiefs plummeted to their 10th defeat in 13 games.
