MANILA, Philippines — AMA Computer University fashioned out a twin kill against Centro Escolar University in the men’s and women’s volleyball finals Friday in the National Sports Associations of Schools, Colleges and Universities (Naascu) at the UM Gym.
The men’s team kicked off the twin championship for the Titans with a 25-23, 25-18, 21-25, 25-22 triumph over the Scorpions.
RJ Francisco carried the fight for Amacu with timely kills set up by Ryan Clarin. Fittingly, Francisco was later named MVP, while Clarin bagged the Best Setter trophy.
CEU’s Jun dela Cruz was Best Blocker, while St. Clare College of Caloocan’s John Acosta was Best Server.
Later, Joyce Chu led the assault for the Lady Titans, who dumped the Lady Scorpions, 25-19, 25-21, 17-25, 25-23.
She was also named MVP.
