TAINAN, Taiwan—Jay Bayron overcame a sluggish start to shoot a four-under-par 68 on Thursday and be just three shots out of the lead after the opening round of the $100,000 Nan Pao TPGA (PGA of Taiwan) Open at the Nan Pao Golf Club.
Antonio Lascuña returned a 69 despite a wobbly finish as the two Filipinos in the talent-laden event put themselves in contention.
