PSL: PLDT plucks 1st win, thumps Sta. Lucia

MANILA, Philippines–PLDT Home Fibr scored its first win of the conference at the expense of Sta. Lucia Realty, 25-19, 25-19, 25-13, Saturday in the Philippine Superliga Invitationals at Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.

Jorelle Singh scored 12 points for the Power Hitters who lost their debut last Tuesday to the Cignal HD Spikers.

PLDT also leaned on Jerilli Malabanan and Grethcel Soltones as it out-attacked Sta. Lucia, 34-26, and scored more from the service line, 10-3.

It was frustrating match for the Lady Realtors who missed the services of Mj Phillips who was under the weather. SLR dropped to 1-1.
