NLEX goes 3-0, clips Blackwater

Import Olu Ashaolu and Kiefer Ravena spearheaded the Road Warriors’ attack anew, scoring 31 and 25 points, respectively in the victory that put them atop the conference standings with a 3-0 record.
Rookie Ray Parks Jr. had 28 points for the Elite while Paul Desiderio tossed in a career-best 24 in the losing stand, as the young Elite joined Alaska at the bottom of the standings with identical 0-2 cards.
The clash set a new league record for combined 37 made triples with the Road Warriors accounting for 18 and the Elite 19.
NLEX seeks to stretch its win streak this Friday against perennial powerhouse San Miguel Beer in Dubai at the newly-opened Coca-Cola Arena.
Blackwater, meanwhile, hopes to stop their skid against NorthPort on Saturday at Ynares Center in Antipolo.
