NCAA: San Sebastian breaks skid, stops JRU
MANILA, Philippines—San Sebastian ended a slump after surviving Jose Rizal University, 62-59, in the NCAA Season 95 men’s basketball tournament Thursday at Filoil Flying V Centre.
The Golden Stags broke their three-game losing streak and improved to 8-6 for the fourth best record in the league.

RK Ilagan, meanwhile, orchestrated San Sebastian’s offense with 11 points and six assists.
Thomas Vasquez had 13 points for the Heavy Bombers, who dropped their third straight loss and sixth in seven games.
