MANILA, Philippines—Chris McCullough may be in Korea to continue his basketball career, but he seems to have left his heart in the Philippines.
San Miguel’s beloved import during the PBA Commissioner’s Cup took to Twitter to profess his admiration for actress Maine Mendoza.
McCullough first wooed the Filipinos with his love of Jollibee’s Chickenjoy and this time he seems to be smitten with Mendoza.

The Commissioner’s Cup champion first tweeted “my crush” on a retweet of one of Mendoza’s fan pages then followed that up with “someone tell Maine Mendoza I’m looking for her” with a kissing emoji.
It’s highly likely that McCullough, who helped deliver the Beermen closer to a Grand Slam, will return to the PBA sometime in the future. In fact, he has also volunteered to be the Philippines’ next naturalized player.
