MANILA, Philippines—Creamline didn’t waste any time in picking up its 12th victory at the expense of struggling sister team Choco Mucho, 25-15, 25-15, 25-16, Saturday night in the Premier Volleyball League Open Conference at University of San Agustin in Iloilo City.

The Cool Smashers imposed their full strength against the Flying Titans to keep their immaculate record and virtually seal the No. 1 spot in the semifinals.

Alyssa Valdez and Jia Morado dropped their national team duties to play for Creamline, which actually got enough power to destroy Choco Mucho even without the star spiker and main setter.

Michele Gumabao and Jema Galanza scored 23 points between them to lead the Cool Smashers, who inflicted the Flying Titans their seventh defeat in 13 matches.
