Inquirer’s Tupas heads college press corps

Cedelf P. Tupas of the Inquirer and Norman Lee Benjamin Riego of ABS-CBN Sports have been elected Collegiate Press Corps presidents for this season Sunday at Mall of Asia Arena. Tupas will lead the UAAP Press Corps while Riego, a former Inquirer editorial assistant, succeeds him at the helm of the NCAA Press Corps. Spin.ph’s Randolph B. Leongson, formerly of Inquirer.net, has also been named secretary with Tiebreaker Times’ Matthew Li named treasurer. Inquirer.net’s Bong Lozada was among those appointed to the group’s Board of Trustees.
