MANILA, Philippines–Allyn Bulanadi fired 19 of his game-high 28 points in the latter half as the San Sebastian Stags repulsed the Lyceum Pirates, 73-71, on Tuesday in the NCAA Season 95 men’s basketball tournament.

Bulanadi, the tournament’s leading scorer, likewise dished out a no-look pass to Romel Calahat underneath for the game-winner with 5.2 seconds remaining.

The Pirates drew one last play to save them from sinking, but Reymar Caduyac lost control when he ran into a defensive wall, allowing the Stags to secure their ninth victory in 15 games.

FEATURED STORIES

Already assured of a Final Four showing, the Pirates wasted a 19-point advantage in the second half after Bulanadi went on a scoring binge that shifted the tide in San Sebastian’s favor.

Jaycee Marcelino, the No.1 scorer in the league, led the Pirates (12-4) with 21 points and Mike Nzeusseu had 16, including a spectacular two-hand jam off a Jayvee Marcelino feed.
