MANILA, Philippines–Foton stayed alive for the next round after pulling down Sta. Lucia Realty, 25-27, 25-15, 25-22, 25-11, Thursday night in the Philippine Superliga Invitationals at Malolos Sports and Convention Center in Bulacan.

The Tornadoes got their act together from the shock loss in the first set to register their second win in five games, tying the Lady Realtors behind Pool D leader F2 Logistics.

Despite the absence of sisters Jaja Santiago and Dindin Manabat who are playing in the Japan V-League, the Tornadoes played with enough spunk mainly through youngsters Eya Laure, who had 19 points, and Marian Buitre, who chipped in 11.

The rookies provided ample support for veterans Shaya Adorador and Mina Aganon who accounted for 14 and 12 points, respectively.
