DAVAO—Antonio Lascuña rallied in the closing holes on Saturday, firing a course record-tying six-under-par 66 to win the ICTSI South Pacific Challenge by three shots over Ira Alido and win for the third time in as many weeks.
A solid game from tee to green and impeccable putting had Lascuña gunning down seven total birdies as he leapfrogged past three men who shared the third-round lead to tally 276 over the wide-open course.
Alido closed out with a 70, while Michael Bibat, who together with Clyde Mondilla shared the third-round lead with Alido, limped home with a 73 to fall into a tie with Lexus Keoninh of the United States at 282. The American fired a 67.
Mondilla, the reigning Philippine Open champion, skied to a 74 and finished seven strokes behind.
