MANILA, Philippines—F2 Logistics had no reason to use its main weapon Kalei Mau but it anyway in a 25-22, 25-15, 25-15 win over struggling Sta. Lucia Sunday in the Philippine Superliga Invitationals at Filoil Flying V Center.
Already in the semifinals no matter the outcome, the Cargo Movers chose to employ Mau, who saw action for the first time since hurting her calf before the conference started.
F2 Logistics notched its fifth win in six games and effectively ousted Sta. Lucia which fell to 1-5.
More importantly, the Cargo Movers primed themselves for the next round with the rousing victory to end the preliminaries.
Mau, Kim Kiana Dy and Ara Galang each accounted for 10 points each in pushing the Cargo Movers to their fifth win in six matches.
