Under Armour Philippines 3×3 basketball clinic equips next generation Filipino basketball enthusiasts
On September 29, LGU Binalonan Team A (Boys Category) and Chiang Kai Shek Team B (Girls Category) landed first place in Under Armour Philippines 3×3 at the Moro Lorenzo Gym in Ateneo de Manila University. The event is the national finals composed of the program’s Top 24 boys’ teams and Top 6 girls’ teams that qualified after two months of training and competitions. The champions expressed their joy for being given the opportunity to compete and showcase all the lessons and skills they have absorbed from their training.

Especially when it comes to working together as a team and how we communicate inside the court.” Jazzy Garcia, SPCP In its initiative to make 3-on-3 basketball more accessible to the country’s youth, Under Armour organized a series of basketball clinics to equip next-generation players basic to advanced” 3-on-3 basketball skills. What sets Under Armour’s program apart from many others is its focus on the rules, gameplay, and the skills needed to successfully play 3-on-3 basketball.
To ensure quality learning, over 30 coaches have been trained in the program’s 3-on-3 style of play and skill development. They later reached out to various schools and communities to share their knowledge with enthusiasts aged 17 and below. Under Armour is not only known for its innovations in sportswear but also its unwavering faith in athletes like Stephen Curry and even homegrown talents. This makes the program the best arena for young basketball enthusiasts to fully learn the essentials of the sport and the true makings of a world-class athlete.
