PH men’s baseball team escapes China in Asian Championships
MANILA, Philippines—The Philippines continued its strong start, this time, pulling off a Houdini act in a 1-0 squeaker over China in the 2019 BFA Asian Baseball Championship Tuesday at Taichung Intercontinental Stadium in Taichung, Taiwan.
The Nationals leaned on the solid performances by pitchers Romeo Jasmin and Miguel Salud to slip past a China side ranked 13 spots higher than the No. 33 Philippines.

The Filipinos dumped Pakistan, 11-0, in their opening game on Monday.
They look to make it three in a row with another stunner against heavyweight South Korea on Thursday.
