Seiko 5 Sports: A Seiko classic sports a new look
Seiko celebrated the grand relaunch of the Seiko 5 Sports collection at the SMX Convention Center Aura, SM Aura Premier, McKinley Parkway, Taguig City on October 16, 2019.
Seiko 5’s distinctive appearance and strength are attributed to the company’s commitment to quality and its promise to deliver its five key attributes; an automatic movement, a day-date display at the three o’clock position, water resistance, a recessed crown at the four o’clock position and a case and bracelet built for durability.
“In addition to the fundamental values of Seiko 5, Seiko 5 Sports offered enhanced water resistance, a strengthened crystal and luminous hands and hour markers. Throughout the next decades, Seiko 5 Sports found great international favor as a ‘’go-anywhere’’ watch that offered a unique look and extraordinary value,” said Yasuki Fujita, Senior Manager for Management Planning Department (Asia II) of Seiko Watch Corporation.
Seiko 5 Ambassadors were revealed during the exclusive launch Rodjun Cruz, Diane Medina, Khalil Ramos, Chu Calleja and Ben&Ben representing the 5 Seiko personas: Street, Sense, Suits, Sports, and Specialist, respectively.
Visitors enjoyed a 20% discount for all Seiko 5 Sports watches and 15% off on other Seiko watches through the Seiko Ambassadors promo codes which are still valid until October 19, 2019.
DJ Javi Vargas and DJ Tobi Panlilio pumped up the venue as guests engaged in five different booth activities giving a unique Seiko 5 Sports experience.
Ben&Ben proved that they are truly a “Specialist” in the field of Music as the band delivered a soulful performance of their popular hits, including their latest single, Pagtingin.
DJ Crwn brought the party in the house as the audience danced to the vivifying beat.
