MANILA, Philippines—NorthPort guard Robert Bolick left the game with an apparent knee injury in the fourth quarter against San Miguel Beer in the PBA Governors’ Cup Wednesday night at Cuneta Astrodome.

Bolick hurt his right knee after it appeared to have collided with Beermen import Dez Wells, who was called for a foul.

The 24-year-old Bolick, considered part of the future of Philippine basketball, still made his way to the free throw line despite the injury and split his charities to give the Batang Pier a 102-95 cushion.

NorthPort then immediately went for the foul to get Bolick out of the game with 8:04 remaining. The Batang Pier escaped with a 127-119 win.

Bolick had nine points, three rebounds and six assists in nearly 25 minutes before the injury.
