MANILA, Philippines–PetroGazz thrashed BanKo Perlas, 25-22, 25-15, 25-20, Saturday night to inch one win closer to the finals of the Philippine Volleyball League Open Conference at FilOil Flying V Center.
The Angels went full force on the Perlas Spikers scoring their fourth straight win and moving closer their second straight conference finals appearance.
Chie Saet deftly handled the Angels’ offensive plays, tossing in 18 excellent sets aside from scoring three points in the surprisingly lopsided match.
PetroGazz can move straight to the best-of-three finals with a victory in Game 2 on Sunday.
